ACTING 1st System Requirements & Architecture Consolidation Workshop, 20-22 September 2023

On September 20-22, 2023, we successfully conducted the “1st System Requirements and Architecture Consolidation workshop” in Lisbon, Portugal. The workshop took place at the Military Academy in Amadora and was jointly organised by CINAMIL, Vision Space and GMV.

The workshop was attended by the entire ACTING consortium, the Cyber Ranges Federation project of the European Defence Agency (EDA/CRF) and Portuguese governmental stakeholders. These included the National Defence Resources Directorate from the Ministry of Defence, the National Security Office, the National Cybersecurity Centre, the Cyber Defence Command, the Army CIS Director, the Cybercrime Combat Unit from the Criminal Police, the National Communications Authority and the EU Cyber Academia and Innovation Hub (EU CAIH) PESCO project.   

The ACTING Project Implementation Coordinator took the step first by introducing the platform, initiating discussions about transitioning from architectural design to implementation and therefore addressing the end-user needs. The presence of the local governmental experts served as an excellent opportunity for the consortium to gather valuable input and make decisions regarding their future actions. Throughout the three-day workshop, the participants had the chance to participate in group discussions and networking opportunities, while the virtual attendance guaranteed a more extensive and diverse participation.
